Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 July 2026

These terms govern use of the Confetti Slack application, operated by TinyPoll. By installing or using Confetti you agree to them on behalf of your workspace.

The service

Confetti posts birthday, anniversary and event announcements to your Slack workspace and provides related features (group cards, alerts, directory sync). We may change or improve features over time; we won't materially reduce what a paid plan includes mid-term.

GIFs and third-party content

Confetti's built-in GIF packs are our own artwork. Your admins can optionally switch announcements to meme GIFs, which are retrieved at posting time from KLIPY, a third-party GIF library. That content is created and uploaded by parties unrelated to us: we don't own, curate or review it in advance, and we make no warranty as to its suitability, accuracy or non-infringement. Meme GIFs are requested G-rated unless an admin explicitly selects the PG setting, and we rely on KLIPY's content ratings to honour that. Subject to the "Availability and liability" section below (including rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law), TinyPoll accepts no liability for third-party GIF content; your remedy is to switch back to Confetti's packs, which admins can do at any time. If a specific GIF is inappropriate, tell us at support@tinypoll.io and we'll report it to KLIPY. GIF URLs your admins add themselves are your workspace's own content and responsibility, as if posted to Slack directly.

AI-written messages

Pro admins can optionally have celebration message text written by an artificial-intelligence model (Anthropic's Claude, running on Amazon Web Services' Bedrock service) at the moment each announcement posts. AI-written text is generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, repetitive, or strike the wrong tone; we don't review it before it posts. The feature is off unless an admin explicitly enables it, which requires an in-app agreement that we record, and admins set its style and tone. Your workspace is responsible for messages posted while the feature is on, including the effect of any style instructions your admins provide. Subject to the "Availability and liability" section below (including rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law), TinyPoll accepts no liability for AI-generated wording; your remedy is to switch the feature off, which admins can do at any time and which immediately returns celebrations to Confetti's standard messages. We don't store the generated text and your data is never used to train any model.

Plans and billing

Acceptable use

Don't use Confetti to harass anyone, to process data you have no right to provide, or to probe or disrupt the service. Individuals' opt-outs must be respected — admins must not re-add dates for someone who opted out.

Data

Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how it's handled. You're responsible for having the right to provide any dates you import on behalf of others.

Availability and liability

Confetti is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but don't guarantee announcements will always post at the exact configured time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TinyPoll's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Termination

You can uninstall at any time. We may suspend workspaces that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
